In 2021, American & Interstate Signcrafters announced that it had been granted recognition as a New York State Certified Women-Owned Business Enterprise.
The New York State program was created to promote economic opportunities for minority- and women-owned business enterprises and increase access to State contracting opportunities.
The NYS certification joined AIS's existing Women's Business Enterprise recognition. Led by CEO Patti Petersen, the company marked the certification as another milestone for its New York and Florida operations.
